Overview

  • Bookings are essential and online-only
  • Only one campsite may be booked per person – sharing not permitted
  • Booking window:
    • Up to 180 days in advance
    • Same-day bookings permitted (subject to availability and mobile coverage)
  • Maximum stay:
    • 14 nights during WA public school holidays
    • 28 nights outside school holidays

Campsites

  • 11 reverse-in campsites on compacted gravel

Facilities

  • No-flush pit toilets are the only facility provided

  • Milyering Visitor Centre (open daily 9am–3.45pm, except Christmas Day) is located en route from Exmouth
  • Self-service bookings may be made at the visitor centre if sites are available

Campground Rules

  • No campfires at any time
  • No dogs or domestic animals allowed
  • Generators may be used between 8am and 9pm only
  • Toilet waste must not be emptied into campground toilets – use an authorised dump point outside the park

  • A per-person camping fee and a per-vehicle park entry fee apply
  • Camping fees must be paid online by Mastercard or VISA
  • Park entry fees:
    • Can be paid during booking
    • May also be paid at entry or via a park pass
    • Trailers and caravans are exempt from park entry fees
  • No booking fee
  • Cancellation/change fees may apply, particularly during peak periods:
    • 4–19 July
    • 26 September – 11 October
